Frequently Asked Questions:
Piercing
1. What’s your age policy?
Ages 6–12: First lobe piercings only.
Ages 13+: Second/third lobes, nose & septum (parent/guardian present).
Ages 14+: Helix & conch (parent/guardian present).
Ages 16–18: All piercings except nipples with photo ID, no parental consent needed.
18+: All piercings available.
* PLEASE NOTE - Minors must bring photo ID and parents/guardians must also have photo ID plus birth certificate or other documentation proving legal guardianship.
2. Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments guarantee your spot—especially for minors or specialty piercings.
3. Does it hurt?
It’s a quick pinch—most clients say it’s over before they know it!
4. How do I care for my new piercing?
Clean with saline twice daily, avoid touching, and follow our aftercare guide for a smooth heal. See our aftercare page here.
5. Can I bring my own jewellery?
For initial piercings, we only use sterile, implant-grade jewellery from our studio. You can swap jewellery after healing.
6. What should I bring?
16+: Valid photo ID.
Under 16: ID for both minor and guardian, plus birth certificate/legal documentation.
A well-fed, relaxed you—skip alcohol or blood thinners beforehand.
7. Do you use piercing guns?
Never. We use only sterile, single-use needles for precision and safety.
8. When can I change my jewellery?
Once fully healed—usually a few months. Ask your piercer for specifics.
